Item Substitutions

Though the inventory endpoint supplies realtime inventory for a store, in rare cases, items may still become unavailable after placing the order. When this happens, the MealMe customer support team will notify the end-consumer via SMS, and provide replacement options, at which point the end-consumer can choose to either replace the item or cancel the order. Here is an example of what that exchange may look like.

This exchange will be white labelled, so MealMe will be replaced with the display name that you provide in all communications.
